The Olympics. Arguably the biggest sporting event on the planet that brings together the world’s elite athletes to compete and be remembered. When Lotus joined forces with Hope Technology to create a revolutionary track bike for Team GB at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, they needed two things: First, a name for the new bike. And second, a visual language to shape the comms leading up to, and during the Games. By unifying letters from both the 'HOPE' and 'Lotus' brands, I created 'OPUS'. Now the bike had a name and a platform for designers, engineers and riders to share their stories of getting to the Olympics.
